Drum shade pendant -Geometric, cylindrical shape of the drum screen will print even older fresh new look. In addition, these tones are much easier to make at home of traditional conical shadows. You can even use fabric or wallpaper scraps left over from other projects.
To do drum shade pendant first, measure around the ring screen and add 2 inches to the resulting measure. Cut out the rectangle. Flip the fabric so the wrong side up. Loosen the edge of a roll of clear styrene and align with the left edge of the fabric. Press the edge of the styrene down against the fabric. Styrene unrolls and presses along the rest of the fabric, stopping about 2 inches before the other end. Press a piece of double-sided tape adhesive tape along each long edge.

Turn the cylinder upright. Run a piece of double – sided tape along the flap of fabric that makes up two – inch seam of your screen. Bend over to soften the edge and apply a second strip of tape. Press the cover firmly against the body of the shadow. Fold fabric sticking up and down beyond its lamp rings down through the rings. Press firmly as you tuck the fabric around the rings; the tape sticks to itself and keep the rings in place. Now your drum shade pendant can place any lampshade you like.
