Colored glass pendant lights – If your old lamp looks dated, a new art glass pendant will give your room a facelift instantly. Disconnect the power supply of the lamp in the fuse box. Flip the light switch to confirm that the power is cutoff, or use a circuit tester. Remove the existing lighting fixture. Loosen wire nuts that connect the power supply to the luminaries. Remove any additional hardware, including additional supports.

Install the flat mounting bar of colored glass pendant lights with the screws provided, if the manufacturer includes a bar. Connect the power cables to the cables of your new appliance. White connects black-to-black and white. The green ground wire is connecting to either the incoming cable or earth grounding screw on the mounting bar provided. Turn slightly cables together; cover with wire nuts included.

Examine your light to ensure that the glass screen is separate from the apparatus to prevent breakage during installation. Attach your new accessory for ceiling box with screws provided in the package. Push excess wires into the ceiling box. Adjust the length of the cable to your preferred height and mount the cover plate. Insert the bulb and connect the display glass, carefully handling. Turn the power supply back into the fuse box. Flip the light switch to test the wiring connections the colored glass pendant lights.
